We are always looking at ways to improve and develop parent partnerships and one of the ways we do this is through our class parent representatives, who form the Bel Royal School Parent, Teacher Community Group.
The role of PTCG is to provide a link between class teachers and parents. It is a collaborative role that supports teaching and learning, is supportive of the class teacher and the school, whilst also enabling the parents to have a voice within the school. Fundamentally, the role of the PTCG is to work towards the common goal of developing every child’s potential and ensuring we uphold our school vision.
Parents’ representatives themselves strive to support the school by providing ideas, support, information and practical help at events and special occasions. We have half-term meetings where we discuss any issues parents wish to raise. The outcomes of the meetings are shared in our newsletters and on the PTCG page. All parents are welcome to attend the meetings.
The PTCG at Bel Royal is made up of parents, teachers and volunteers, and we are always looking to expand the team.
If you would like to volunteer in any way, shape or form, please let us know!
